Manuel - it wasn't just me was it.. That's what I'm saying..

I was buzzing after the Chelsea win, I also said I didn't enjoy the game.. I was getting called a fundamentalist Moyes hater because I could see past the results.. Said it wouldn't last.. It didn't.. I'm still getting called it because of it.

Why don't you wind your neck in and stick to your own advice, as you're always quick to tell others don't police the forum and Willtell doesn't need you tag teaming with him.. Always the first to cry when others do it to you eh son, even though you love a pile on yourself, not to mention a bit of policing the forum.. :-)

fraser - For fucks sake son, wind it in a bit with this I'm a football genius and I saw what was coming bollocks, it's tiresome and basically cuntish be behaviour. Who exactly said it was sustainable having low possession and to keep winning games, of course it's not sustainable, so again who said it was?? Surely it was simply a case of some optimism moving forward off the back of some good results in games we were expected to win, in the hope we'd have a good season, that is perfectly normal for a football fan to behave that way.

You said you were buzzing when you left after the Chelsea win, correct or not? So I assume you were you not leaving the ground muttering to yourself, or anyone else in earshot, that it isn't sustainable? Again, of course it wasn't, and since then we have had more possession in games, correct? And as we know it also depends a lot on who the oppo are, we had a a high % of possession against Everton and lost. You ain't some football genius, mate, it's boring now with your I told you so posts. Yes, we have been shit in the last month, and yes most of that is down to Moyes, but it's not been anything to do with being ''unsustainable''

I think I'm quite justified in saying what I said. Sure the fundamental Moyes haters were saying it was unsustainable but you would wouldn't you?

First Willtell you were arguing with me not the other way around I criticised Moyes you started sticking up for him.. I said it was unsustainable, you said he was doing a great job because of results, I said they were a false dawn.

So because I and others said it was unsustainable and have been proven right.. Your conclusion is that we only said it because we're fundamentalist Moyes haters, nothing to do with it being bleeding obvious.

So to sum up you was justified even though you were wrong we weren't even though we were right...

Rubbish. If I said black you'd argue it was white. Can I remind you that we beat Chelsea and Brighton 3-1 each. Luton 2-1. TSC 3-1 and Sheffield Utd 2-0. OK we lost to City and Liverpool 3-1 each but most teams do. Then we are one of a few teams that almost beat Newcastle but finished 2-2.

I think I'm quite justified in saying what I said. Sure the fundamental Moyes haters were saying it was unsustainable but you would wouldn't you?

Fact is we were on a roll and I said it was up to Moyes to keep it going or lose his job this winter at contract renewal. Nothing has changed wanker...

Last season's PL form could have been a blip and there were signs early doors that Moyes was getting results or running close to the top sides.

No there wasn't, you just read it wrong, or weren't paying attention to how we were playing and how the games went.. Was always unsustainable.. As I and others said back then, you just thought you knew better and criticised us for saying so.

We have won only 15 and lost over half (26) of our last 50 games in the Premier League under Moyes. We lost over half of our games last season (20 of 38).

Compare this to his first 94 Premier League games since he returned to the club and we won 40 and lost 33.

It is clear and abundant that the wheels have well and truly fallen off and this is not a temporary blip.

But we all know we will get a result (probably a win) at home to Forest next Sunday and Moyes will be left to meander on.

The season is turning into another write off, league wise.

Did you know that Fabianski only made 32 appearances for Arsenal between 2007–2014. What a waste for a half decent keeper.

We simply look like a team who are always going to concede goals. Absolutely no leaders at the back at all, in fact very few throughout the team, we look very quiet and typical West Ham easy to play against.

The use of Ings is painful to watch. What is Moyes obsession with half these players? Mubama may not be the answer but you will lewarn far more sticking him on for 15 minutes than you will with Ings. Ings legs have gone, he reminds me of Kevin Nolan's last days when he just looked an old man out there.

Eerie,

I don’t disagree with some of your points.

We were fucking shit against Villa, Olympiacos & Everton while yesterday we were a bit better but defensively really bad. The manager deserves most of the criticism for those although some of the players shouldn’t be excused either after some really basic mistakes.

I still think you over emphasise on spending big money too much. We spent big during one season (much of it wasted) other than that it’s been fairly moderate in premiership terms. We made money this summer. Man Utd & Chelsea with better manager’s than us have shown it doesn’t guarantee results by spending huge amounts.

Personally I think it would nice to see a new manager come in and freshen things up but the reality is unless we drop in the bottom 5 before Christmas there is almost no chance of Moyes getting sacked before the end of his contract so it’s pointless hoping for it.

Just out of curiosity though when you say we should be in the mix to win things where would you expect this group of players to finish in the Premier League and how far should we going in the cup competitions to be “in the mix”?

Fabianski has always been the better keeper for communication and coming off his line for crosses. Areola has never done it, he relies on his amazing reflexes. All Brentfords goals were avoidable with a keeper commanding his area. Who would have thought lobbing balls in the box would be our Achilles heel.

This is a case-in-point example of a disjointed lopsided arse about face squad that relies on moments of indvidual brilliance to fashion up a few results, managed by a train-wreck

Facts :- We cant defend ( average 2+ goals conceded this season with a "new gk" and every combination of Cb)

We cant hold onto leads

We cant come back /respond

We cant play the game that we see in front us us

Brentford played that short/long corner/thrownin from the right all first half, its where their best player Mbweno is, and they nearly scored three or more times.

So what did we do? Ignored it and let them do it again and again second half until they scored their winning goal

Our response, hit and hope

Words fail me. Get him out of this club. Today . cheers

I agree with all that you said but the difference is that Moyes has been successful in getting us two seasons in top7 and won our first trophy in 43 years was it?

Last season's PL form could have been a blip and there were signs early doors that Moyes was getting results or running close to the top sides.

Bringing in Tim Steidten gave Moyes a boost with the addition of 4 signings that improve the first team. Only one was a Moyes choice and contributed massively to the early wins. some of us gave Moyes credit for that as it seemed unlikely that the board would sack him while he was improving results.

Moyes has now run into a brick wall. I don't think he has entirely lost the dressing room but he can't be far away from doing that.

If the board don't allow Steidten to bring in a replacement just to save half a year's compensation then we are well and truly fucked with yet another mediocre season looking like it's on the way. Hopefully the board see this too and the loss of European football will reduce revenues and the club's value as well as the appeal of the club to future signings...

Why has Areola stop coming of his line to command the area , he did it well why he first broke into the first team and also in the conference cup , so who told him to stay on his line like Fabianski. Moyes of course.

Had to check it to believe it
Since Brentford came to the Premier league we have played them 5 times and lost the lot. Scored 3 and conceded 11
I have a lot of respect for Brentford ... well run club , very professional and a very good manager.
But given the disparity in resources that is an appalling record.
Similar to what our record was against Brighton before the victory this season.

As mentioned given the money spent the record of 25 defeats in 49 League games is catastrophic and would have seen the manager sacked at least a year ago at a serious football club.
That it is being allowed without any kick back from the owners tells you all you need to know about how SHIT they are.

People going on about 1 missed chance, like it's a season defining moment.

We've been shit for a long, long time. We have a squad littered with top quality attacking talent, and he sets us up to defend.

People also going on about us missing 3 first teamers, Brentford currently have 7 players unavailable, including probably their best ever player. Imagine if Brentford were lucky enough to have Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen, Alvarez in their squad? Or if they could spend £100mil on 3 centre backs?

The manager is a fucking charlatan. Pillocks are thankful to him because 'we have always been shit'. Well, at what other time in our history has a manager been given the sort of money this clown has? We should be in the mix to win things AND play football that doesn't make you want to dig your eyes out with a rusty fork.

I thought we played well in the first half and really should have put the game to bed whilst we were on top. I think we all knew that missing that golden opportunity to go 3-1 up before the break would come back to bite us on the ass.

No-where near it in the second half. Awful again.

A massive wind up that we conceded from 3 shit avoidable goals. Similar goals that we let in last season (long throw). And that we bought on Danny Ings. We offered nothing as soon as Antonio went off for that waste of space.

Aguerd - every mistake he makes costs us a goal. How simple was it to not concede a fucking corner.

Very frustrating.
